Consumer Health Privacy Notice

Last updated: October 3, 2026

Scope

Tendme is operated by theeditorcompany, LLC (Sampledtech). This notice covers information about your care and wellbeing, including consumer health data covered by Washington's My Health My Data Act. Contact hello@tendme.app about this notice.

What we collect and why

We save selected body areas, self or partner preferences, favorite routines, session history, timing and completion, and optional better/same/worse comfort check-ins. These records and routine suggestions derived from them may reveal physical-health or wellbeing information. For device-only profiles, these records and the weekly plans and suggestions derived from them stay on your device and are not uploaded for account syncing. Existing signed-in users continue to store account care records with Supabase for history, summaries and suggestions. We do not access HealthKit, medical records, heart rate, workouts, or step counts.

Sources

Care information comes from your selections, optional responses, and activity in Tendme. We derive care summaries and routine suggestions from those records. If you volunteer health information in a support request, we receive it directly from you. Please avoid sending medical records or identifying information about a partner.

Recipients and categories disclosed

Supabase processes care selections, history and check-ins for existing signed-in accounts. Device-only care records are not uploaded for account syncing. Catalog and subscriber-video requests use our infrastructure and may reveal which content is requested through technical request information; subscription verification processes purchase information to authorize media access. Our support-email provider processes any care information you voluntarily include in a support request. Mixpanel processes app-interaction events, including session starts and completions, which may themselves suggest use of wellness services; earlier app versions also sent a recommendation reason derived from a prior check-in. Updated analytics exclude comfort responses, selected body-area values and account identification. Sentry processes technical diagnostics, which may contain contextual information about use of care features. We do not intentionally send raw check-in responses to analytics or diagnostics. Apple and RevenueCat process subscription information that can indicate use of Tendme. We do not share care records with other Tendme users or with affiliated companies, sell consumer health data, or disclose it to advertisers. Disclosures required by law are handled under applicable legal requirements.

Your rights and requests

You may request confirmation of collection or sharing, access to your consumer health data, information about recipients where applicable, withdrawal of consent, or deletion by emailing hello@tendme.app. Device-only users can erase local care records from You > Settings > Profile > Erase care data on this device. We cannot retrieve those records from our servers. Existing signed-in users can delete their account from You > Settings > Profile. We verify requests using proportionate information and explain any action we cannot take. In updated versions, Settings > Privacy & data > Delete saved check-ins deletes saved responses and withdraws permission to save new ones until you agree again. Skipping a check-in does not erase existing records. Turning off Share usage analytics stops future Mixpanel collection on that device; it does not erase previously collected events. Deleting an account does not cancel an Apple subscription.

Timing and appeals

For requests covered by Washington law, we respond within 45 days, with a further 45 days when reasonably necessary and with notice explaining the extension. To appeal a decision, email hello@tendme.app with the subject Health privacy appeal. We respond to appeals within 45 days. If your appeal is denied, you may complain to the Washington Attorney General. We coordinate deletion with relevant providers; qualifying archived or backup deletion can take up to six months under Washington law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
